In 2017 4-H Ghana hosted the first-ever National LEAD (Leadership, Education, Agricultural, Development) competition. Over 300 students from all corners of Ghana participated in debate, Agriculture Creed (adapted from the FFA Creed) and Opening Ceremonies contests. With the support of the national 4-H office, clubs held local and regional competitions with the winners competing at the national level. AgriCorps Fellows worked closely with 4-H Ghana to develop the contest. The next 4-H National LEAD Camp: Cultivating Young Entrepreneurs will be held in August 2018 in Aburi, Eastern Region, Ghana.
