When two similar cities were compared, the one with a Syringe Service Program had 86% fewer syringes in places like parks and sidewalks (CDC)
Due to decreased access to community based syringe disposal (public bathrooms, health care clinics, etc), our Syringe Service Programs are seeing an increase in syringe disposal cost. The New Hampshire Harm Reduction Coalition continues to support the state's Syringe Service Programs, but we need your help. The money we raise will help dispose of 750lbs of used syringes, that is almost 50,000 used syringes! Safe disposal is one of the key components to our programs' success.
Your gift will help provide immediate financial support by covering the cost of sharps containers and disposal.
