Last November, after announcing intentions to close its Food Pantry, the Christian Services Center abruptly closed its doors just before the Christmas holidays, leaving those in the St. Augustine, Fl community without access to this vital service.
The Food Pantry was serving some 350 family households – an estimated 1,000 people per month at the time of its closing – many of which were elderly, disabled, and children.
The POB Restoration Center has made it its mission to Re- open the Pantry doors as early as , but we need community support.
The Current Landlord has agreed to Rent us the existing spot. This in itself helps us from finding a "NEW" location and helps those families who have been served from traveling to a new location which may be out of their community.
All we need to get the keys and open the door is: $4286
▪ $2,800 first & last month rent
▪ $530 utilities (deposit for water/trash)
▪ $846 (deposit for electric)
▪ $110 for the first pest control treatment
For those who have followed our journey up to this pivotal moment, we especially invite your participation with us as we work to feed the needy in our community.
For nearly 5 years, we have prayed for a building from which to minister and God has opened the door for the POB Restoration Center to reopen this important community service. Located at 78 Masters Rd in North St. Augustine, Fl
Please help us with your Donations! and God Bless You
Pools Of Bethesda Restoration Center has NO planned salaried Staff Members at this time. All work on behalf of the Food Pantry and the Non-Profit is done FREE of Charge.
5 years of effort by 4 lonely volunteers – each driven by a faith-filled vision for a segment of our society that is often forgotten – the POB Restoration Center ministry is facing a breakthrough and The Food Pantry is a Community need milestone. Again, Please help us Re-open The Food Pantry Door by donating to this GoFundMe-Charity Campaign. Years of wondering what God was doing with this, His ministry, brought us to our knees for Him to reveal the direction that he wanted us to go. We knew that God was at work, as He always is, but (through much prayer) it was taking us a while to align ourselves with His Will. ▪ We are in dire need of ongoing support from friends in our St Johns County community.l We believe that the Food Pantry will serve as a contact point to reach our target group. The Pantry will allow us to work with the court system to offer community service hours to those mandated by the court. As we get the Food Pantry off the ground, we’ll expand the ministry to include instruction in practical life skills, job training, and job placement, as well as individual, group and family counseling by a State-licensed Social worker and Christian mental health counselors.
