3 year old needs surgery to close colostomy - Hirschsprung Disease
Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance, and for medically complex children, that can be a death sentence. Children such as Prince Jonel have not received surgery due to lack of sufficient funds.
Prince Jonel is a 3-year-old boy who needs life-saving surgery for closure of colostomy.
He was born with Hirschsprung disease - a rare defect of the colon that does not allow him to process his waste properly. If he does not get surgery, he risks an infection that could kill this sweet prince.
His father, a construction worker who performs risky work, earns $15/day. The amount he earns can barely cover the basic needs of Prince and his family. It would be impossible for him to come up with the $3000 to pay for this surgery for Prince.
This is the third child in Maya’s Hope’s program who has Hirschsprung’s disease. Maya’s Hope has previously funded two successful surgeries of siblings Alliyah and Roviklein. Both are doing well today.
Let's get Prince Jonel surgery. Prince has value. You can change a life, donate now!
