Raise $3 for every mile of the Pacific Crest Trail I plan to hike. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to benefit their mission of research, patient support, and political advocacy.
I was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in August 2012, underwent 6 rounds of R-CHOP chemotherapy, 21 days of radiation therapy, and countless hours of rehabilitation therapy.
Now cured, I want to prove young people dealing with this disease can still kick it by hiking all 2650 miles (or so) miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. In addition, I want to raise money to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America. 100% of proceeds will be given with hope that no one has to deal with this disease ever again, and for those that do, they are able to have a better quality of life due to the invaluable advocacy and support of LLS.
