As many of you know, Since 2013, I have been a volunteer for ASF and a part of the third generation of my family to volunteer for this amazing organization. ASF is a non-profit organization that provides profound and life-changing experiences for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities and chronic illnesses through outdoor physical activity, education, support, and community. For years, I have contributed to this foundation as a certified special education ski and snowboard instructor to children with disabilities and by fundraising for the organization through volunteer events. Now, I am a member of ASF’s Young Professionals, a group committed to the mission of ASF and dedicated to raising awareness around the great work the foundation puts forth through mixers and special events.
I am excited to announce that I will be taking my journey with ASF one stride further by participating in the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon with the ASF team. This year, I will be running alongside my sister, father, and aunt towards the same goal of raising money on behalf of ASF. I have included the fundraiser link below and I would greatly appreciate any donation! I also encourage you to share the fundraiser page, as the pledges and funds we raise together will make an immense impact on the programs ASF offers to those with disabilities.
Adaptive Sports Foundation NYC Marathon 2019 Fundraiser
As my grandmother always says, “It is in giving that we receive.” And so, I would like to thank each and every one of you and the ASF organization for the parts you have played in helping to shape me into the person I am today. Thank you in advance for your kindness, generosity, and support of this effort. Please join me and my family on November 3, 2019, as we take on the iconic TCS New York City Marathon or track me on the TCS Marathon App.
See you at the finish line!
