As you may have heard, homelessness is a growing problem in the Twin Cities. As a psychological scientist, I study how stress and adversity affect people's thinking and mental health. Research shows that a supportive community and exercise are two of the most effective ways to promote resilience in the face of adversity. That's where Mile in My Shoes comes in! MiMS helps provides people experiencing homelessness with the support they need to get back on their feet. We must all work together to end homelessness, one stride at a time!
