As the NPH USA Midwest Associate Board we have decided to fundraise $2,225 this holiday season! This is the amount it costs to run NPH Dominican Republic for a day. Our family in the Dominican Republic began with seven children in a rented home in the town of San Pedro de Macoris and quickly expanded to six rented houses. The bishop of San Pedro de Macoris, Francisco Ozoria Acosta, donated land to NPH on behalf of his diocese. Two adjacent parcels were then purchased and construction began on the NPH home. In September 2005, the family moved into their new home, naming it Casa Santa Ana and is now home to 222 children. Casa Santa Ana lays on 50 acres of land which includes a school (grades K - 11), vocational school, farm, greenhouse, chapel, playgrounds, basketball court, and baseball and soccer fields. Help us support NPH DR this holiday season by donating $25 or more to help us reach our goal as a board and enhance the lives of our NPH kids!
Here is what your donation can do:
$25 = 225 eggs
$50 = 30 notebooks
$75 = 10 pillows
$100 = 25 liters of milk
$150 = 10 school uniforms
$200 = 200 lbs of beans
We thank you for your donation to help the children of NPH Dominican Republic combat poverty. If you would like more information about NPH USA, contact Meg Brockman at 312-386-7471 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
