Within a few weeks of the COVID 19 closure, a small group of volunteers recognized the need for 24/7 access to food for our local families. We established a wheelchairaccessible Food Pantry on the covered front porch of a small local school, which has been closed due to the virus. Now, Point Arena has a 24/7 Food Pantry to serve as an immediate-need resource for our tiny community.
There is an increasing need to stop gap hunger as members of the community seek to stabilize their circumstances. Local donation have lessened as the pandemic wears on. So, we are asking for your help.
Our $2500 goal will stock the Pantry shelves for the next six months. Please help us care for each other. Thank you!
