I am super excited to be able to take part in this event again! Two yeara ago I shared this experience with Sam, Charlie and Kai. we were fortunate to raise almost 6,000. This year I get to share this event with Hannah.
Hannah and I each have a Crowdrise page and each of us have set a goal of $7,500. This event is a race and our start order depends on how much we can raise. the more we raise the better our start!
More imporatant that the start or the race is the abilty to help raise money for Cystenosis research. Meeting and knowing a family that has to deal with aa disease that currently does not have a cure has opened my eyes to the blessings I have as a Husband and a dad. The Sturgis family is strong, courageous and fun!
Thank you for helping Hannah and I raise money for Cystinosis research.

Since being diagnosed Henry takes 43 doses of medicine per day to maintain his condition and hopefully stabilize this disease. He also takes a Growth Hormone shot 6 days a week. He has occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy weekly, blood draws every two months and is seen by a kidney specialist quarterly to monitor his kidney function. In March 2019 we will be having our 11th annual ski event at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. With your help, life free of Cystinosis is within reach. Cystinosis is an incurable disease that only affects approximately 500 people, mostly children in the US and 2,000 worldwide, based on these rates, Cystinosis research is primarily funded through private donations. Time is of the essence - Thank you for supporting our family's race to save Henry. To learn more about Henry and Cystinosis please visit www.24hoursforhank.org
