Simply put, we cannot operate our team without fundraising. Yes, players pay a fee and yes, we are given a budget from the athletic department, but that budget isn't enough. Our program is given $1500 to spend for all 5 of our times. This isn't enough to even pay for new baseballs to be used at home games for each of our teams! Without your donations, we simply could not operate. We NEED your help to ensure we can provide a quality baseball experience for our players to help us meet our mission of developing young men to put them on the path for future success in the game of life.
The loss of the 2020 season due to the pandemic has increased the need for a successful 2021 fundraising campaign. We are limiting our expenditures and always look to save for the future, but we have several items that need to be purchased on a yearly basis. There are also other items that need to be replaced overtime.
Here are examples of what your donation can help provide for our team:
$50: dozen practice balls
$75: dozen game balls (need 30 every year)
$100: Set of plyocare balls (arm health and training)
$200: replacement netting for L-screen (need 1 this year)
$300: field conditioner clay for pitching mound and home plate for the season
$400: new L-screen (need 1, want more!)
$450: Pocket Radar for lower level team (track player performance and enhance training).
$500: new team set of lower level baseball pants (need 1, want more!)
$1500: Assistant Coach (District pays for one head coach at each level and one varsity assistant)
We are also excited about partnering with the Chanhassen Dugout Club on improvement projects on the baseball and softball field. These include adding new batting cages to be utilized by baseball and softball at our complex, adding turf to the baseball field bullpens, and working towards adding a storage facility for baseball and softball field equipment. Your donations help make these projects a reality and we are excited about making them come to fruition with your help.
