The OT Challenge Hike is not just a great time, it’s the largest fundraiser supporting the Ozark Trail Association (OTA), a 501c3 organization that maintains, develops, preserves, promotes, and protects the rugged natural beauty of the Ozark Trail, Missouri’s 400+ mile National Recreation Trail. This event will take place the weekend of May 1st - 3rd with the hike day being Saturday, May 2nd, 2020. Each hiker who participates is challenged to not only complete this 17.8 Mile hike but, more importantly, to raise a minimum of $1,250 in support of the OTA through tax deductible donations by friends, family, co-workers, etc. Corporate sponsorships and new memberships recruited by participants also go toward the fundraising goal. There are many other ways to raise funds with creative fund raising ideas. Ideas can be obtained from the Event Director.
The best way to begin is to set up your fund raising page now and share the link with everyone you know so they may make a tax deductible contribution to the OTA in support of you participating in this event.
Hikers will be treated to a festive weekend with free camping, free food, fellowship, campfire, music and all sorts of OTA/Challenge Hike swag. For questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Thank you for participating!
