We are excited to announce our 2nd annual Shot Through the Heart Sporting Clays Charity Shoot! River Breaks Ranch will be hosting us on October 17th, 2020 for an afternoon of shooting, followed by an evening of fun with horse races, an auction, dinner and after-party.

The Children's Heart Lane is a private 501(c)3 Foundation started in Amarillo, Texas in 2018. The founders saw a need in our area for families with chronically ill children that are required to travel out of the Texas Panhandle to receive medical care and treatment.

Board members Bob & Jamie Snyder know first hand the importance of this program.  Their son, Kaston Lane, was born 17 years ago with complex Congenital Heart Disease and underwent 2 open-heart surgeries in Dallas before the age of 2,  spending much of Kaston's childhood in-patient and travelling back and forth between Amarillo and Dallas.  They currently are required to take him to Houston every 3 months where he is seen by a team of transplant physicians at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor St. Luke's to manage his failing liver and heart.

Our Board of Directors is composed of family and friends of the Snyders:

President:  Bob Snyder

Treasurer:  Kaki Giauque

Secretary:  Korah Snyder

Board Member:  Matt Snyder

Board Member:  Amanda Weigle

Executive Director:  Jamie Snyder

These Directors have supported the Snyder family throughout much of Kaston's life, and together through The Children's Heart Lane Foundation, have already been able to assist numerous families from the Texas Panhandle travelling away from home to receive medical care for their children, as well as provided much needed food and supplies to the Ronald McDonald House.
