I am excited to be on Prom Court again this year. I wore the crown after being named Prom Queen back in 2017 and would love to wear it again! I currently hold the record as the only three time “star” dancer in the 10 years of the Red Cross “Dancing With Our Stars” event and now the only three time Prom Court member. Because of this, I am once again excited to be raising money for the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of the American Red Cross. Having worked as a news reporter since 2000, the last 15 years in Green Bay at WBAY-TV, I have covered a wide variety of stories in Northeast Wisconsin. I have seen first-hand the good work of the Red Cross. Whether it’s coming to the aid of a fire victim, feeding the homeless, hosting a blood drive to save lives, or sending holiday wishes to military members, I believe the Red Cross plays a vital role in our community. And, I am honored to be raising money for an organization that has done so much for so many people.
While I enjoy raising money for the Red Cross, I’m thankful that my involvement in the organization has introduced me to lifelong friends who share my appreciation for such a wonderful cause.
Born on Long Island in New York, but raised in Pittsburgh, PA, I now call De Pere, WI home. I live with my husband, Rock, and two sons, Troy (9) and Baby Adam, born in October.
A former college soccer player, I don’t like to lose, so I’m hoping you’ll support me in my quest to be Prom Queen again, while helping to change lives through the American Red Cross.
Emily is a a member of Prom Court for the 2020 Throwback Prom, a fundraiser to benefit the American Red Cross of Northeast Wisconsin. This ‘turn back the clock’ style event is aimed to give adults the opportunity to experience Prom night all over again. Complete with a DJ dance, Prom Court competition, corny Prom photos and Prom attire from yesteryear, Throwback Prom has provided a night of reminiscing on Prom memories of the past while providing lifesaving funds for the American Red Cross in Northeast Wisconsin.
