As COVID-19 continues to be our stark reality, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope that you are taking extra care to stay safe and healthy – for yourself, your loved ones, and those around you. It is a stressful and emotional experience as our daily routines change.
For 25 years, the Neurofibromatosis Clinics Association, Inc. (NFCA), a Pittsburgh-based non-profit organization, has been dedicated to raising awareness about Neurofibromatosis (NF) - a progressive genetic condition. We work towards maximizing the quality of life for people with NF and their families by delivering individualized social services, tutoring assistance and scholarships to promote academic achievement for a brighter future.
As you may know, we rely on your generosity for our very existence. Earlier this year, we made the difficult decision to cancel our major scheduled events – Walk in the Wild, Walk on the Isle, and the Golf Outing. While we missed seeing your face in person, we made the most responsible choice for our volunteers, and for the health and safety of our community.
Now, based on the absence of this income, the NF community services that you have come to rely upon are in serious jeopardy. More than ever, our community needs us. And we need YOU.
We know that we must adapt or become another casualty of this pandemic. Until we can meet face to face to fundraise and celebrate, we are excited to initiate a Fall Giving Campaign to boost our funds, thus securing our services and positive impact on the NF community. THE GOAL: $60,000 BY DECEMBER 20, 2020.
Please help us reach our goal - the NF community needs you...we need you.
