Story

The Morels and  Memories Mushroom Hunt & Alzheimer’s Fundraiser was started in honor of my mother Heidi Vanderlinde, who was diagnosed with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s Disease, in 2011, at the age of 49, and sadly lost her battle to the disease August 2019.  The fundraiser is now on it’s 5th year, raising almost $18k and counting towards fighting Alzheimer’s disease.

100% of donations will be going to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund

Come join the hunt for the elusive Morel mushroom, our Minnesota State mushroom.
Experienced guides will take you on private property, less than an hour from the Twin Cities, to assist you on the hunt!

Prizes for the first, largest, most morels found!

Keep what you find!

Raise the most funds as a team this year,  and you and up to 3 other paid participants of your choice, will get to be personally guided by Gentleman Forager Mike Kempenich, owner of Forest to Fork!
