This year I get the amazing opportunity to run for the Mass General Emergency Response Marathon Team which was created in recognition of the lifesaving response of hospital employees following the 2013 Boston Marathon® bombings. I was a volunteer on the course that day and witnessed firsthand just how amazing my MGH family truly is. I have worked in the ED at MGH as a physician assistant for 7 years and consider the ED my second family. Since my last marathon in 2014, I have gotten married and had 2 beautiful daughters. I run to show them anything is possible if you are driven and put the effort in. I want them to be proud of their mom.
"Finishing a marathon is a state of mind that anything is possible"
See you at the finish line!
