Our annual fundraising dinner was planned for May 31st, 2020. As we know the world has radically changed in the past few months, disrupting plans, changing our social behaviour and harshly affecting lives in many different ways. This new reality has also affected students who are looking to go off to post-secondary education. The bulk of jobs that students wouldn normally do during the summer have disappeared leaving them with few options to save for the upcoming school year. And with record unemployment in general, parents are finding themselves in the uncomfortable position of not being able to provide for their children as they head off to a college or university.
So with this backdrop in mind, we at the Dream Never Dies Foundation have seen a record number of applications this year as students look for help. And although our traditional means of raising funds to help our students are not currently available, that does not mean our mission stops. We still aim to help as many deserving students as we possibly can and we're looking to our greater community to help us out.
Reaching our goal of $10,000 will allow us to continue our work in helping students through our various scholarships.
You can help us a couple of different ways.
1) Donate. Your contribution will definitely help as we work towards supporting as many deserving students as possible.
2) Share. Spreading the word of our campaign to your social network will allow us to reach a much wider group of people interested in helping out as much as possible.
