In 2001, Dublin Coffman student and hockey player, Adam Allgeyer, tragically lost his life in a car accident. The Adam Allgeyer Memorial Tournament was started a year later by then club hockey coach Steve Kranz. With proceeds from the tournament, the Dublin High School Hockey Association (DHSHA) established and continues as the custodian of a separate fund in Adam’s name to provide scholarships of financial assistance to families that may not be able to afford the annual cost of ice hockey.
Each year, the tournament continues to honor Adam, his love of hockey and being part of a team. Unfortunately, the Allgeyer Tournament has been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and it is unknown when it will be rescheduled for the 2020-2021 season. As a result, DHSHA is using this platform to continue to fund the Allgeyer Fund and support families needing financial assistance.
The Dublin High School Hockey Association (DHSHA) encourages supporters to make donations to "DHSHA" in Adam Allgeyer's name. DHSHA is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and 100% of each donation will be placed in the separate Allgeyer Fund to provide financial assistance to families that may not be able to afford the annual cost of ice hockey. With your help, DHSHA can meets its goal of $6,000 to help those players in need of financial support.
On behalf of the Allgeyer Fund, the Dublin High School Hockey Association is truly appreciative of your donation and support!
