A "Wild" hike to Mt. Tallac!
To my family and friends, your support for me throughout my fight with breast cancer last year has been amazing. I am very lucky to have you in my life. After surgery, chemo and radiation, it was a struggle to get back to the energy level I had before cancer.
Triumph Cancer Foundation provided two amazing personal trainers, Eddie Salazar and Aaron Wyant, both certified for working with cancer patients, to work with our class of six people. Via the workouts, they helped me regain not only my energy, but my strength and flexibilty.
Being that I did not have to pay for this opportunity, I am honored to help raise funds to pay it forward for other cancer survivors to have the same opportunity. To do this I am going to strive to make the hike to Mt. Tallac's summit to thank you for your donation.
As always, I appreciate your friendship, thoughtfulness, and generosity.
With love to you and your families, and may God's blessings always be with you too!
Each summer, Triumph Cancer Foundation assembles a team of Triumph graduates, cancer survivors and supporters to participate in "Triumph to the Summit". Throughout the summer, our team trains each weekend, with the ultimate goal being to climb to the summit of Mt. Tallac in September.
On September 7th, our 2019 team will tackle Mt. Tallac, one of the highest peaks in the Tahoe Basin, topping out at 9,735'!
