We live in a rapidly changing and stressful time, it seems. Between local and international affairs, increased digital connections, and growing environmental concerns, to find peace, acceptance, and outdoor beauty becomes a deep need for us all. Camp WA WA Segowea in Southfield, Massachusetts has been that respite for countless friends and families for over 90 years.
Segowea reaches and serves people in many ways: through enriching residential summer camp programs, off-season rentals, team building and community volunteers days, and family retreat weekends. Its pristine waterfront and lake provides tranquil recreation like canoeing, fishing, and swimming. And Segowea’s native, 4,700+ square foot American chestnut lodge attracts and enamors all who come to sit on its porch. Hiking trails, open ball fields for play, and rustic gathering spaces welcome children of all ages and groups for gatherings of all types.
The 2019 Annual Appeal is an opportunity for you, our friend, to give back to Camp WAWA Segowea and help Smith Park of NY continue to run this very special place on Harmond Pond. Donate this year and your funding will help in multiple ways. This year we plan to purchase more boating equipment, provide materials for cabin improvement projects, and help us further maintain and repair our beloved camp property and infrastructure. Your donations are tax deductible and are critical to help Smith Park of NY lead Camp WA WA Segowea into future generations.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
