It’s that time of the year again! SCCS’s Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) will be hosting its 9th Annual Jog-a-Thon, themed “Shine Bright,” on Thursday, April 25th! PTF aims to support and serve our school, administration, faculty, students and families, “Teaching minds, and Training Hearts for God.” Each year Jog-a-Thon proceeds help the PTF to offset the costs of many school-wide events and enhancements to bless our students and wonderful school staff, such as the Thanksgiving Feast, staff luncheons and Teacher Appreciation Week. Our goal this year is to raise $16,000.
All SCCS K-6 students will participate in the Jog-a-Thon by walking, jogging, or running laps around the school’s playground to raise money. Students are asked to solicit pledges or donations from their family and friends.
We will be giving away weekly prizes leading up to the event to all those who use the CrowdRise platform. All weekly prizes will be based on the CrowdRise results only. Our Cardinal Mascot “Red Fred” has his pledge page ready to go!
We will also be giving away grand prizes for the combined total of the most online, paper pledge and Shout Out (explained on the next page) funds raised. Prizes include: First place - Nintendo Switch; Second place - Apple AirPods with a $50 Target gift card; and Third place - a Fitbit Inspire HR, as well as a class pizza party. And, there will be additional division prizes for the most laps completed.
We are grateful for the commitment of so many individuals who have given and continue to give so faithfully and generously to SCCS PTF in the way of financial resources, time, and talents. Your support is vital in helping us fulfill our mission; Teaching Minds, Training Hearts for God.
This campaign will close on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 8am pst.
