The Lost Lake Run is approximately 16 miles of awesomeness taking place in the wilderness just outside Seward, AK. It began in an effort to support people with Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. According to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Patient Registry, in the United States: More than 30,000 people are living with cystic fibrosis - Approximately 1000 new cases are diagnosed each year - More than 75% of people with CF are diagnosed by age 2 - More than half of CF population is age 18 or older. There is more work to be done. Which is why it is one of a few charities Run Wild Fitness chooses to support. This will be our second year supporting the event with a team of 16 runners. We have set a team goal of raising $5000.00 for 2019. Any amount helps. Your support of our team and support of continued research of CF is greatly appreciated!
