INTERFAITH LANGAR; A MEAL FOR EQUALITY & ONENESS OF ALL HUMANKIND
In this divisive time, it is important that we come together as an interfaith community.
Colorado Sikhs, Denver Sikh Gurudwara, Golden Thread of Truth, Mile Hi Church, and The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado are hosting a joint Langar (free community kitchen) on September 21, from 11am - 2pm at the park across from the Colorado State Capitol.
This event is open to the public and is family friendly.
The Langar is a 500 year old Sikh tradition and food is provided to all for free.
We will share food, conversation and break bread with our fellow Americans.
With your blessings, we hope to feed 4,000 people, including those in need.
We will provide free food at the event and also donate to local charities.
Thank you to the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, Golden Thread of Truth, Mile Hi Church, Denver Sikh Gurudwara, and the 25+ organizations who will be attending the event as well (a full list of sponsors can be found on the event's Facebook page).
If you are interested in sharing in this seva (service), please donate now.
If you are a singer and would like to donate a song, that is also welcome.
We will use the funds for food and general services/supplies. This year we also hope to have singers from various interfaith communities
If you do not wish to use a credit card, you can send a donation check to
