On Saturday, March 9, 2019, people from all walks of life who want to make a difference for Africa's elephants will join together in support of the work of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Please join me and the Wildebeests team either in person at Griffith Park or by providing financial support for this great cause. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust works to protect Kenya’s wildlife and wild habitats, including elephants and the land where they roam. At the heart of DSWT’s work is their successful Orphans’ Project with over 200 elephants raised through the nursery, with the end goal for each elephant a return to a wild life. However, DSWT’s work encompasses a much broader vision that ensures the sustainable protection of wildlife, habitats and communities for future generations. Can you imagine a world without wild elephants??? It's unacceptable, and we’re determined to keep doing all we can to protect wild herds, treat injured elephants and care for orphaned calves. You are helping us protect Africa's elephants by becoming a part of the herd!
