I will be competing in this year's Boston Dragon Boat Race on June 8th & 9th with the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC). My goal is to raise $250 for the BCNC Youth Center, which serves Asian and immigrant youth in Boston and Quincy. As a student at Tufts, the only medical school located in a Chinatown, I have spent a lot of time in the community eating, shopping, and even seeing patients. I am gracious to have the opportunity to obtain my medical education in such a unique environment, and I hope to give back to the community in whatever way I can. Please consider donating and helping me attain my goal. Any amount, no matter how small, will make an impact!
The BCNC Bamboo Circle is competing in the 2019 Boston Dragon Boat Festival to support Asian and immigrant youth! We're raising money to provide youths ages 13-18 with year-round youth development, college access, and leadership programs to develop the 21st century skills they need to thrive in college and the workforce. BCNC serves 170 Asian and immigrant youth each year from locations in Boston and Quincy.
Every dollar will be very appreciated and wisely spent to support our youth!
The BCNC Bamboo Circle is the young professionals group of Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC). BCNC empowers Asians and new immigrants to build healthy families, achieve greater economic success, and contribute to thriving communities by providing a broad range of innovative and family-centered programs and services to more than 8,000 children, youth, and adults every year. This year, we're competing as part of the Ohana New England family.
