On Saturday, September 14th, 2019, Douglas Elliman is hosting our 7th annual bicycle ride, Ride For Love benefiting God's Love We Deliver, and I will be riding my bicycle to Montauk.
Since the mid 80’s, God’s Love We Deliver’s mission has been to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses (COPD, Alzheimers, MS, etc.) by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. This amazing charity prepares and delivers nutritious, high-quality meals to people who are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves because of their illness. In addition, they also provide illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to their clients, clients families, clients care providers and other service organizations.
This ride is In Memory of George Livadas and is dedicated to my family, friends, and colleagues.
Please join me and donate, whatever you can afford. (No amount is too small)
If things are a little tight and you would like to still support, please share on social media, forward my fundraising page (https://bit.ly/2k3WoB8 ) IN GOD’S LOVE WE DELIVER!
The Douglas Elliman Ride for Love | The Ride For Love is our annual bike-riding fundraiser. The ride is taking place this year on September 14th and we are joining forces with the Ride to Montauk. There is a 25 mile, 50 mile, and 108 mile course that all end in Montauk with a celebration. To this date the ride has raised over $800,000 and this year we hope to break the $1,000,000 mark. https://bit.ly/2lBFgmI
The Ride for Love Story | Whilst sitting at his desk back in the summer of 2011, ride founder Max Dobens decided that it would be a good idea to ride his bike 100 miles to the annual Douglas Elliman sales meeting in Atlantic City to raise money for God’s Love We Deliver. Having never ridden more than 70 miles before, he felt compelled to lead by example showing the agents that they should push themselves and do something that they felt uncomfortable doing to help them improve. That year he raised $3,508 riding alone. Last year, we opened up the ride to the general public and in 2019 we are now preparing for the 7th annual ride partnering with the Ride to Montauk and their established courses/ride logistics. Ride-to-date we have raised more than $815,000 from over 150 total riders so PLEASE join us in helping the recipients of God’s Love We Deliver by making a donation NOW! https://bit.ly/2lBFgmI
