Welcome Participants! On Thursday, May 23rd, 2019, CVC will hold its 6th annual Charity Bike Ride! We are excited to make this year's event even bigger and better and need your help to make it happen!
As you already know, we are asking participants to raise at least $1,000 which will support 3 amazing non-profit organizations:
Jumpstart - www.jstart.org - Jumpstart is a national early education organization that recruits and trains college students and community Corps members to serve preschool children in low-income neighborhoods. Their proven curriculum helps children develop the language and literacy skills they need to be ready for kindergarten, setting them on a path to close the achievement gap before it is too late.
Youth INC- www.youthinc-usa.org - Youth INC’s mission is to transform the lives of NYC kids by empowering the nonprofits that serve them. Rather than solely giving nonprofits cash grants, Youth INC teaches them how to fundraise sustainably, build their boards and governance, and maximize and measure their impact on the youth they serve. Youth INC works with 80 organizations reaching 220,000 young people in NYC and their success is proven. Over the course of a nonprofit’s tenure in Youth INC’s network, Youth INC’s partners experience average growth of:
- 173% in budget size
- 33% in Board size
- 157% in youth served

Youth Business USA – www.ybusa.org - Youth Business USA aims to serve underrepresented, young adult entrepreneurs by providing business training and resources, access to experienced volunteer-based advisors and mentors, and assistance in raising start-up capital. YBUSA recently launched a digital platform, skysthelimit.org, in order to more efficiently and effectively connect young adult entrepreneurs with the resources they need to achieve their business goals.
As an incentive, the biggest fundraiser will receive some truly amazing prizes!!!
How to Donate Please use this platform as your primary way to raise funds. You will need to establish yourself as a fundraiser (see the red "join" button at the upper right) to create a page that you can then forward to your supporters.
All physical checks must name Jumpstart for Young Children as the payee mentioning the 2019 CVC Charity Bike Ride on the memo area and forwarded to Erica Goldberg at CVC, 712 Fifth Avenue, 42nd Floor, New York, NY 10019. The event date will be here before we know it, let's really push it this year and raise some amazing funds for these great causes!
