On Sunday, August 25, 2019 in Chicago and on the shores of Lake Michigan TEAM KEYSTONE FOUNDATION will swim, bike and run in the 37th annual Chicago Triathlon to raise funds for the Keystone Foundation. This will be our fourth year competing and the success we have had so far has inspired us to train even harder! With a total of over $60 000 raised so far, we are thankful for all of our supporters and donors, and all the athletes taking part in this initiative!
As a nonprofit organization we are dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the programs of Glenkirk and Search. But we can’t do it alone – we need your help! Please invest in our vision and mission, and make a big difference in the life of the individuals we serve!
Vision - We envision communities where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy the opportunity to lead rich, rewarding lives as equals. This includes access to:
• Quality housing and personal supports
• Educational, social and cultural experiences
• Quality, comprehensive healthcare
• Community integration
• Employment and pathways to employment
Mission - To provide Glenkirk and Search with direct financial aid in support of innovative programs and services and a source of permanent financial stability through:
• Cultivation of existing and potential donors
• Support of fundraising events and campaigns
• Participation in advocacy efforts relating to public policy and funding
Your support will help Glenkirk develop and grow high quality, innovative services and programs and improve access to quality, comprehensive healthcare. Funds raised will also be used for capital improvements to housing and program facilities as well as to develop and grow its social enterprise portfolio.
And your support will help Search provide small scale, community based homes, create pathways to employment and access to quality, comprehensive healthcare. Funds raised help create enrichment opportunities and alternatives to traditional day services.
Together Glenkirk and Search provide a complete range of quality, personalized services to more than 1,500 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities each year.
