Hello friends and family! I am running Reach the Beach this year and I couldn't be more exicted to run with a team of 12 from Bretton Woods to Hampton Beach. For those of you who are not up-to-date on your New Hampshire road maps, that's 200 miles! Many of you are not surprised to hear that I have signed up for another race, but this one is different. Unlike most other runners on this team, I didn't know what Camp Calumet was a year ago. I didn't know of this incredible place in rustic New Hampshire that has inspired countless children and young adults to be better leaders and citizens of the world. I have seen firsthand this summer the power of Calumet and its ability to help young people grow and develop. So please help us raise money so every child can experience the goodness on the shores of Ossipee Lake! Thank you for your support!
Calumet is taking part in it's 10th Reach The Beach: a two-day, 200 mile race across New Hampshire. This year, we have 72 runners, 12 drivers, and a bunch of support participating in the run that starts at Bretton Woods and ends at Hampton Beach. Donations to support Reach The Beach go directly to help Calumet.
In 2018 Calumet provided campership awards in the amount of $110 to EVERY SINGLE camper, and additional support for those kids who needed special help covering the fees. This Reach the Beach fundraiser allows Calumet’s fee to be as low as possible thereby keeping in within reach for every family. Any amount you can give truly makes a huge difference. Thanks so much for your support!
