The Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) provides a safe and welcoming place for children to talk about what’s happened to them and to find help and healing after abuse and exploitation. Every year the CAC works with over 1,500 child abuse victims by bringing together and working with police, prosecutors, social workers, advocates, medical and mental health professionals and others to provide high-quality, specialized services. We do this all in our child-centered location.
The CAC is excited to announce a dedicated team for the running of the 123rd Boston Marathon on April 15, 2019. The CAC is grateful for each team member’s commitment to not only finishing the marathon but also raising support for the children and families we serve. Your thoughtful support of a CAC Marathon Team Member tells children exposed to violence that they are not alone and that, as a community, we will support them on their journey of healing.
