Hope and a Future Project's soul mission is to invest in young single mothers looking to earn that elusive college degree.
Nearly two-thirds of families started by young single mothers, end-up in poverty due to low wage paying jobs, and a lack of advance education. Less than 2% of teen moms who have a baby by the age of 18, graduate college by the age of 30.
Hope and a Future Project has joined the fight in our communities to help overcome this industry of poverty by empowering young single mothers to get into college and earn their college degree.
This event helps provide funds for tuition, books, transportation, childcare, and any other needs that might prevent these young mothers from accomplishing their educational goals. They are also provided with college scholarships, mentors and life skills training.
Hope and a Future Project's dedicated mentors, volunteers, and generous donors, have helped to make the dream of earning a college degree possible.
