My name is Elizabeth (Libby) Reynolds and I am a senior at C.K. McClatchy High School in Sacramento, CA. This year I am a member of the Junior Board for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). I have the honor of serving as secretary and assisting our board and others in our community in raising funds to combat and awareness for Leukemia and Lymphoma.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society plays an integral role in the journey to beating cancer for many patients. Not only does LLS provide support (financial and emotional) for patients and families, but they fund crucial research and programs that improve survival rates for those with Leukemia and Lymphoma and other forms of cancer. Cancer is not going away. Approximately every 3 minutes, there is a new diagnosis for Leukemia and Lymphoma in the United States. Cancer is not slowing, and neither should we. To date, LLS has raised over $1.5 billion. This money has funded amazing new medicines, treatments, and support for patients. With your help, we can do so much more.
I am asking for your support for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, and all the incredible programs and initiatives it supports. Your donation does make a difference. For more information about the specific programs, legislation, and research your money will be used to support , visit https://www.lls.org.
Any donation helps and is much appreciated. Even if you are unable to donate, please share this site with your family, friends, and co-workers. Donations are tax deductible, and can be made at the Sacramento LLS Junior Board website.
Thank you for your support!
