Each year, parents of approximately 15,800 kids will hear the words, “your child has cancer,” and 2,000 will not survive. 60% of children who survive cancer into their adulthood suffer late-effects such as heart failure, secondary cancers, or infertility. We aim to ease the burdens of patients and families suffering from childhood cancers in honor of the life of the Foundation’s namesake, Sean Hanna, and the thousands of other young people who fight and have fought cancer.
September 29, 2018 will be the 4th softball tournament on behalf of The Sean Hanna Foundation. This co-ed tournament, hosted at Warren Park in Woodbridge, NJ, is a fun-filled day striving to raise money for families struggling due to medical bills associated with pediatric cancers. Entry fee for teams is $250 which includes complimentary food and water; donations are welcomed at the table. Each team will play a minimum of 3 games while working their way through a double-elimination bracket. This is a co-ed tournament with a minimum of 4 girls required on the field at all times. Tournament shirts will be available for purchase.
