With the 2017 Florida March for Black Women, we made history. Almost 1,000 Black women, girls, femmes, and their allies gave their time, talents, and resources and joined us to take the streets of Miami, demanding that we are heard and celebrated for being Black and women.
This was another compression point for our Femme Agenda work. It inspired us to continually prioritize the needs of the most marginalized amongst us while driving deeper on what “power” looks like and how we get it.
The Florida midterm elections have the potential to make history. With the first Black democratic candidate and game changing amendments on the ballot, now, more than ever we must mobilize the political power of Black women.
On Saturday, November 3, 2018, we will mobilize thousands of Black women and youth voters in critical sites across the state to the polls, showcasing our continued power. Will you support us?
