Floatin', Fun, and Fundraisin'!!
Join the New River Conservancy for the inaugural Splash for the Cash and you could paddle away in a brand new Kayak!
In 2017 alone, the New River Conservancy mobilized 192 volunteers to remove 16,310 pounds of trash and 791 tires from the New River and some of its tributaries.
The $$ raised by your efforts will go towards our River Clean Up programs!!

You will need to set up your individual fundraising page or join a team.
You will then need to set up your personal fundraising goal.
Between June 22nd and July 18th, ask your friends, neighbors, colleagues, enemies, random people you meet along the way to participate by making a gift.
The more money you raise, the more chances you have to win!

When: Saturday, July 21st at 10am
Where: Wagoner Access at New River State Park. The New River Conservancy will be floating from Zaloo’s Canoes to Wagoner Access at New River State Park.
Entry fee to float is $15/person. 12 years and under is $10/child.
Your entry fee will cover the cost to shuttle from New River State Park to Zaloos.
The meeting location for this event is at Wagoner Access. There will be a shuttle to take paddlers and their equipment from Wagoner Access to Zaloo's to put-in. Folks that made arrangements in advance to use Zaloo's equipment can pick up said equipment once the shuttle drops everyone off at Zaloo's.
You are welcome to bring your own equipment (Boats, Paddles, PFDs, etc.). PFDs (life jackets) are required.
If you need to rent equipment, you can coordinate with Zaloo's directly (1-800-535-4027 / http://www.zaloos.com/). Be sure to mention that you are participating in Splash for the Cash Event. They are offering a special event rate!!
After the Float, join us at the New River State Park for food, fellowship, and fun!!
Prize winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting the following day!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Park at Wagoner Access New River State Park. Shuttles will be provided to Zaloo’s as long as you're registered! Don't forget!!
How long can I expect to be on the water? Time on the water will be approximately 2-3 hours.
What time does the after party begin?
The after party begins once you get out of the water (approximately 1pm) at Wagoner Access New River State Park.
