2018 Pedal for Peace Bike-a-thon

The 2018 Pedal for Peace Bike-a-thon supports health, education and community organizing projects in Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and the U.S. Your contributions make a difference by providing scholarships for students, training for healthcare promoters, and legal aid and human rights training for rural workers trying to obtain or protect their land.

To ride in the event and receive an event t-shirt, click "Register." After registering, you will be prompted to either join a team or ride as an individual. Then share with your friends to invite them to sign up and ride with you or make a donation to your ride in support of the projects!

If you do not want to ride in the event, you can still donate to the projects by clicking on "Donate."

On the day of the event, check in at 1:00 pm at the Grove 13 registration site on the west side of the Barry Avenue underpass to the Chicago Lakefront Bike Path, or at the southside registration site at the Dog Water Fountain at 55th St. and the Lakefront Bike Path. Choose the 12- or 24-mile course ride, then join others for the fiesta and a brief program afterwards.
