I am writing to request your support for Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts through my participation in their 2018 IRONMAN Golf Championship. I consider JA to be an important local nonprofit organization that is making a real impact across the region and I hope that you can join me in supporting their education programs for local students.
Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to teaching students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on instruction. JA’s programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace and to life.
By helping students think critically, communicate clearly, contribute to their community, and connect learning to their lives beyond school, Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts is making a measurable difference and I am asking for you to join me in supporting their local programs with a donation of REQUESTED DONATION AMOUNT.
As a local 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN #: 04-3193575), JA of Southern Massachusetts relies on donations from the local community to provide free local programs to nearly 7,000 students each year. JA of Southern Massachusetts is a local organization that is growing too – with their programs increasing by over 60% in the last year and having recently won a national award for their impact and operations. Every $100 dollars raised will allow a local classroom to receive a free JA Program, and I hope that you will join me in supporting this worthy cause!
JA and I extend our sincere thanks for considering this investment in local students and if you have any questions about their work in the community please contact their President, Jeffrey Pelletier, at 508.997.6536 or Jeffrey.Pelletier@JA.org.
