Dear Family, Friends, and Alumni of the House of Sir Winston Churchill,
This year has truly been a blessing to me as I have had the opportunity to lead this house during the good times and the bad (but I’d definitely say the times have been more good than bad). Throughout this year I have gotten the opportunity to usher in a new class of Churchillians, and strengthen the relationships with those that I have known for years. It is these relationships that keep the foundation of our house firm, and we recognize that without such relationships it would not be possible to call this house we have a brotherhood.
Our annual spring retreat on March 16-18 is always one of the best times to cultivate these relationships. It is a time where we are able to be the most open with one another, a time to have important conversations, and a time to simply take a sabbath away from the city and forget for a moment about the everyday responsibilities that weigh us down.
To cover all of our costs we need $3,000. This will cover transportation, food, and lodging.
Your investment is important as we serve the House of Sir Winston Churchill this year and in years to come. Whether now, for this event, or in your presence at House events, the House of Sir Winston Churchill is a successful, prestigious, and lasting brotherhood because of who you were to us then, but also who you are to us now. Our house’s connection with our past, in you, is an essential part of how we operate for the good of our Brotherhood. Our blood, toil, tears, and sweat this year is spent for what you created for us.
Sincerely,
Nathan M. Rizzuti
President of the House of Sir Winston Churchill
