2018 HIV Awareness Music Project (HAMP) Festival
25% - that is the number of people living with HIV in the state of Louisiana who are unaware of their status. In the past 40 years since the initial outbreak, the medical field of HIV has made major advances in the fight against the disease to the point of U=U: undetectable equals untransmittable.
For the last 9 years, 102.3 WHIV.FM and the New Orleans Society for Infectious Disease Awareness (NOSIDA) have respected the importance of HIV testing in New Orleans through HAMP Festival. As we near the 10th year of the event, of merging music and New Orleans culture with community activism through this unique event, please help us continue to offer opportunities for life-saving interventions to those who need it most. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO 102.3 WHIV.FM, a non-profit social justice and human rights radio network.
If you're interested in donating as a business, we have 4 sponsorship levels and for a $500 donation, your business is advertised over the airways of WHIV.FM (our listenership is national and through 70 countries). Just contact info@whivfm.org or visit our webpage at https://whivfm.org/ or our HAMP Facebook page!
