Needed: Meals for Thanksgiving! Can you help?
Many of you know, I am on the fundraising committee for the Feed the Hungry Gala which helps support Interfaith Social Services. Our family has been volunteering for Interfaith for about 4 years.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but a Thanksgiving meal is not a guarantee for many of our neighbors. Can you imagine not having turkey and all of the fixings at your table? Already over 700 families have registered to receive a Thanksgiving meal from Interfaith Social Services' Food Pantry.
A donation of $25 will enable Interfaith to provide a Thanksgiving meal for a family. I'm committed to helping to end hunger by raising $1,000 for hungry families - can you help by contributing to provide a holiday meal for a neighbor in need? No amount is too small! I am dedicated to helping South Shore neighbors in need through my support of Interfaith Social Services. As a member of the Feed the Hungry Gala Committee, I'm honored and dedicated to helping to raise money to provide food and groceries for my neighbors, diapers for young children whose families depend on Interfaith’s food pantry, mental health counseling for individuals who would otherwise have had nowhere else to turn, and backpacks, Halloween costumes, Thanksgiving meals, and Christmas presents to the families that Interfaith serves.
