The Del Boy Memorial Team Challenge is in memory of Del Boy, a pony who touched so many lives during his time on earth. As many know, Del Boy’s resume included many ribbons, accolades, and championships. But none are as important as the final contribution he made at Great and Small. The Del Boy Memorial Team Challenge is a way to for him to continue touching lives as we honor his legacy.
The Del Boy Memorial Team Challenge will be held at the Potomac Pony Club Field, 19301 Bucklodge Rd, Boyds, MD 20841 on Saturday, November 10th. All proceeds from the event benefit the arena footing fund at Great and Small.
Lexie and her pony club friends (Ariana, Jenna and Gretel) - Team name: Knight Mares (Major is the Knight for the three mares) are riding for a cause. This cause is very close to the Weitzel heart as Great and Small is a Horseback Therapeutic Riding center for Autism and other disabilities. Lexie has given back to her community by giving her horsemanship expertise and experience with her challenges with autism by volunteering at Great and Small. She and her pony club friends are riding to raise funds for this very important cause.
