On March 16, 2020, The Center for African American Military History also known as Buffalo Soldiers National Museum joined forces with the arts and culture community following recommendations from the City of Houston and Harris County officials to close our doors, we have now been closed for four months.
We need your support NOW more than EVER. We have lost a great deal of revenue due to closure including: cancellations of events, admissions, reenactments, group tours, gift shop purchases, general donations and grants. The pandemic has also set back our $ 5 million Heal the Armory campaign which we are relaunching with additional messaging and objectives. As we await support from the federal government and local foundations, we must solicit individual support to ensure we bounce back stronger than ever.
