I’m so excited to annouce that I will be running the 2020 Boston Marathon for Team 15-40 Connection. This will be my first marathon and running Boston has long been on my bucket list!
I am truly grateful and honored to support the 15-40 Connection, an organization that is near and dear to my heart. Grass rooted in my hometown of Shrewsbury, MA, the 15-40 Connection is a non-profit organization founded by my parents, Jim and Nancy Coghlin, to educate individuals that “the best cancer diagnosis is an early one”. The efforts of this organization are spent empowering and teaching people how to detect cancer and seek treatment early, in the hopes of saving lives.
Please consider supporting me and the 15-40 as I train to run 26.2 miles on April 20th, 2020! Also, I would be grateful if you could share my page with anyone that may be interested in supporting this cause. With your help, the 15-40 can advance its goal of saving more lives through early cancer detection.
The worst cancer diagnosis is a late one! Learning to detect cancer early is lifesaving.
15-40 Connection saves lives by teaching people how to detect cancer early.
Our 3 Steps Detect education teaches people how to: recognize the early warning signs of cancer and collaborate with healthcare providers to help save and improve their own lives.
Take a minute to hear from Asa, one of our younger survivors, in the video above about the difference 3 Steps Detect made for him. Listen to firefighter PJ Roy about how vital 3 Steps Detect is to the firefighting community whose members have a 9% higher risk for getting cancer and a 14% higher risk of dying from cancer than the general public.
YOUR DONATION will help save lives.
