The worst cancer diagnosis is a late one! Learning to detect cancer early is lifesaving.
15-40 Connection saves lives by teaching people how to detect cancer early.
Our 3 Steps Detect education teaches people how to: recognize the early warning signs of cancer, take timely action, and work with their doctor as an empowered patient for best outcomes.
Please watch the video above. Kimberly McDonagh’s husband, Eddie, an FDNY firefighter, had cancer symptoms for almost a year before he went to see his doctor. His delayed diagnosis cost him his life. He died of colorectal cancer at the age of 49. Early detection saves lives. Vital to the firefighting community whose members have a 9% higher risk for getting cancer and a 14% higher risk of dying from cancer than the general public.
