When first responders leave their homes, there is a very real chance that they won’t return again. These men and women put their lives on the line every single day to protect their communities. The 100 Club of Chicago takes care of the families that they leave behind.
When a first responder loses their life in the line of duty in Cook and Lake Counties, the 100 Club of Chicago steps in to support their family. Within 24 hours, the 100 Club is there to provide immediate financial assistance by presenting the surviving spouse with $50,000.
Support does not end there: In addition to initial funds, the 100 Club of Chicago provides scholarships for dependents who would like to pursue secondary education. The 100 Club also has Gold Shield Partners who offer pro-bono services to our families such as legal, financial, counseling and more.
Tragedy can strike for another first responder at any time. Our goal is to raise just 10% of what we give to our families, with the hope that we will surpass it, and ensure that we will be able to provide for our next family.
Help us raise hope for our families by donating to the 100 Club of Chicago.
