Hope and Dreams Initiative is celebrating 10 Years of Kindness! What started out as a dream has become ripples of change across communities in Nigeria. In the last 10 years, supporters of Hope, and Dreams Initiative have tackled kindness on large and small scales — from creating nine WASH reading rooms in schools, which continues to serve generations of students, to supply thousands of sanitary pads to young menstruators, to building handwashing stations in school, to building the first community WASH Library/Safe space that generations after generations in Abuja, FCT would continue to use. In each act, the goal was simple: find the often-overlooked schools or communities where people deserve an opportunity and provide that extra push to change their realities. We know that the power of an opportunity transcends borders, barriers, and blockades. As part of our month-long celebration, we at Hope and Dreams Initiative are encouraging you to join in our " 10 Years Stronger!” campaign. We are raising contributions to create a WASH reading room for one of the schools we serve in Abuja, this school, LEA Primay Kuchigoro is very deserving of having a WASH reading room. The school is situated in one of the underserve community in Abuja, FCT, Nigera. We are also raising contributions to start our reuseable sanitary pad sewing program in school, this will give us the opportunity to supply our girls with a yearly sanitary pad kit that will enable them not miss school during their period, it will provide menstrual hygiene education to these girls and empower them with skills wise, thereby providing them with economic empowerment to provide for their families when they leave school. We want to thank all of you, our amazing and kind supporters, for the ways that you have helped us reach this milestone. While we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to the ways that we can change the world with you in the next decade. We have work to do!
