I've always been a runner, but the COVID-19 pandemic took it took a new level. What started out as a lockdown workout, turned into so much more. This primal activity made me realize how unbelievably fortunate I am to have the ability to move my body. Following that realization, I had another one. What if I, moving my body, could make a difference? I've decided to run 10 miles on Sunday, February 14th, with the hopes of raising money for the Covenant House. This wonderful organization helps homeless, runaway, and trafficked youth. More specifically, I will be donating to their COVID fund which goes directly towards shelter, food, and adequate healthcare resources for these kids. I know times are tough, if donating is not an option I encourage you to join me on 2/14, regardless of where you are in the world, and move the body you are so lucky to have!
