We know that the fight to end human trafficking can feel overwhelming. Where do we start? How can just one person make a difference against such a huge battle? We are empowered and encouraged by a that washed up on a sandy beach. A man walks up to her and tells her to look out at the thousands of starfish stranded on shore. He tells her that she can't save them all and that she can't possibly make a difference. But the little girl picks up another starfish, throws it back into the water and says, "Well, I made a difference for that one!" The little girl inspired the man, and he too began to throw starfish back into the sea beside her. Soon other beach-goers joined in, and all the starfish were saved, 1 little starfish at a time.
Human trafficking is a huge problem, and we can all fall into the trap of thinking that we can't possibly make a difference, but we can! Will you join us in our mission?
