Ainsley's Angels of America is super excited to be spreading awareness through activism and to celebration!
Enjoy this wonderful note from Lynn and Chad, Noah's proud parents: Our family has been blessed this past year in becoming part of the Ainsley’s Angels of America family. Noah started racing in July, 2016. His first race was the Allen Stone Memorial in Virginia Beach, in which a United States Marine volunteer and her husband pushed him. It was immediately evident this was something Noah enjoyed. Chad’s first race to see Noah compete was in the Ghent 10K and he instantly knew that this was something he wanted to share with Noah. Noah and Chad are now running together and Lynn has begun to serve the local Hampton Roads Ambassadorship as a Guardian Angel. As a family, this has been much more than about races, it’s about meeting other Angel families, inclusion and supporting each other as we care for these special hero’s in our lives.
Back in July 2016, two families in Ainsley’s Angels submitted Noah’s name into a drawing in a Louisiana race. Noah won a chair! The gift of the chair has been a blessing, however Noah has been in a growing spurt and is quickly outgrowing his Freedom chair. Noah has been given the opportunity to ride in an Axiom chair the last couple of races. This past weekend during the Run With Your Heart Race in Jacksonville NC, Chad and Noah were able to race together using an Axiom chair, which better complements Noah’s needs.
Our goal is to be able to purchase an Axiom chariot for Noah. These chariots are special built for each rider and can be rather expensive. We are asking for your help in meeting our fundraising goal. If you feel led to give, please know that your gifts will be a huge blessing for our family and very much cherished.
